To be fair, in what VP debate was this ever the focus? Adams hated the VP position and considered it a useless position. Which it has largely been and still is. But it still can potentially carry great ramifications.

But yea, not watching this debate or caring that they didn't focus on that. I generally agree with Adams.

What if he just said idk? What do you think Kamala? Biden does have somewhat of a good pull in the african american community but don't underestimate the religiosity that exists in it.

Pence just has the look that black people will hate though so it doesn't matter much. Like if you could invent someone to look and act like "the man" for lack of a better term, it would be Pence.
 
Both candidates have been dodging/pivoting from a lot of the questions, but this debate is infinitely more watchable than last week’s debacle.

Ended up being a moot point. Pence wisely redirected from talking about science denial back into taxes or else.
 
I switched off.

Very weak moderating.

Pence never answered a question put to him when I was watching.

Kamala very unimpressive IMO.

I saw the Republicans left a ticket to the debate for 2pac because Kamala said some where he was the best rapper alive.

Is she a bit phony like all politicians? Of course. But I swear we're going straight to the bottom of the barrel. That is some twitter message board type insult on their part.

I enjoy political conversations and debates. But I'm not watching this one. I already know where my votes going and it ain't Trump.

How bad was it? It can't be Sarah Palin bad, she's atleast a lawyer. She has to be able to talk herself out of spots.

I'm not a huge Kamala or Biden fan either, but it is what it is at this point in the cycle.

Edit: also not a lawyer, but I play one on TV. No for real though I have a degree in political science, which isn't really a science at all. But I almost went to law school. Pence is probably doing what they teach you. If they don't press you on it, take the question and go to a strength. Which sounds easy, and it kind of is. But finding a coherent way to do it without putting any uh or filler words in it isn't. I had a class where all you did was this crap. If they're gonna let you run all over them, do it.

Moderation has been poor in both debates it sounds like. I don't think Wallace had a chance though. Those guys weren't going to be stopped and he can't hold them in contempt
