I'm loving all this tension within the Republican party and I hope it is fruitful for us in January.

The Republican party has continued delegitimizing the election results by claiming that there was massive fraud, without proof of course, but now their tactics are making their own conservative voters have second thoughts about voting during the run off because now they themselves don't trust the system. I guess they didn't take into account that by telling people that their vote didn't count they could potentially suppress the votes of their own coalition.

But Tanden, a former policy aide to Hillary Clinton, has also been a fierce critic of senators from the Democratic side of the aisle, for example the progressive Vermont senator Bernie Sanders.

TBF I do wonder whether that statement was aimed more in Trump's defence than as a criticism - I mean, given how he has behaved and acted these past four years (and especially since he lost) why would anyone think he or the GOP wouldn't have tried to cheat during that election? They already legally cheat every time there is a vote.
