To do that you would need to re-run the election stating that everyone who wants to vote has to vote in person. You can't have these are the ways you can vote and then decide afterwards actually what we said was fine to do won't count now.

I think they usually do give daily updates as the postmarked ballots come in, just that there are likely more of them this year and the race is close so the margin isn’t big enough to call.
