Massachusetts voted down RCV. I put a lot of time in to this so I'm very disappointed, stumped actually. I can't understand why.

Shame about florida, but Texas, Georgia and NC seem to be trending in the right direction. (I wonder what O'Rourke could have done if he was the nom).
Good to see AZ shore up the blue vote in the southwest.
Hopefully Collins can be caught in Maine, otherwise not a great night at Senate level.

So many in the US that are afraid of socialists couldn't even accurately tell you what it is.

The only socialist institution we have here in the US that is openly branded as such is Social Security. However, that is a legacy institution that gained acceptance prior to the Cold War. One mind**** that can get so many more Americans on board with those types of programs is to brand them as “public” rather than “socialized”. Socialized medicine is some sort of communist plot, but Americans almost unanimously accept and love having access to public parks, public libraries and public highways.

Really sad about the RCV, makes a lot of sense to me to get a more balanced view of voters desires
