If Biden can take back Wisconsin and Michigan and flip one of Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennslyvannia or Ohio it's all but over for the orange man.

I just want them to call Florida nice and early for Biden, and I can go to bed

It is hard to know tbh.

It has not been unheard of in the past for there to be far less voter machines to be allocated to poorer areas compared to richer areas so even if the exact same numbers turn out one will show a line and the other not.

Just as a matter of principle though I feel that expecting anyone (regardless of whether they share my particular political views) to wait in line for hours to vote is really bad for democracy.

Also, social distancing will probably make lines seem longer than usual

Beacuse its so big and thinnly it must be a logistic nightmare to vote in person

Queuing to vote a good thing normally I thought? Usually a good sign of turnout.

It is a good sign

but speaks to the rampant voter suppression in some states. in other years, the long line is a deterrent to voting. especially for the working poor.

That would be good, i would say him winning North carolina early would not be out of the realm of possibility.

I think we're gonna do it in Pennsylvania. Huge line at my polling place at 7am/7:30. So i went home and came back out at 10am to no line

People are sick and tired of the reality show. The Trumpers are loud, but I think PA is gonna go the right way. I didn't feel this confident in the run up

More like the fact that he's 74 years old and has the energy of somebody decades younger. Never seen anything like the enthusiasm his fans have for him at those rallies, pretty unbelievable.

More like the fact that he's 74 years old and has the energy of somebody decades younger. Never seen anything like the enthusiasm his fans have for him at those rallies, pretty unbelievable.

He also has the energy of someone who's been jacked up on drugs for the final weeks of an election.

Sorry everyone

2 p.m.: The State Board of Elections has voted to extend voting hours for two precincts in Sampson County and one each in Guilford and Cabararrus counties, primarily because technical issues delayed the opening of those polling sites.

Voting will go until 8:15 p.m. at Plainfield Fire Station near Dunn and until 7:54 p.m. at Sampson County Adult Daycare in Clinton. Voting was extended until 8:04 p.m. at Bluford Elementary School in Greensboro and until 7:47 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Concord.

Because state policy calls for no election results to be released until all polls are closed, no North Carolina vote totals will be released before 8:15 p.m.

Think we'll see something similar to 1968, only with the parties switching places.

Back then Nixon was considered a tired, uninspiring candidate but the chaos of LBJ's administration (Vietnam, race riots, hippy culture) really burnt out millions of Americans mentally. People were just desperate for their country to become quiet again. Hence the saying "silent majority". Nixon won by running with a 'at least with me you'll know what you're getting' approach and it was enough to win him the election. I can see the same thing for Biden here.
