Hopefully mark Kelly will drive a big blue turnout in AZ and block this path for trump.

McSally is an awful candidate for AZ. She lost to Sinema, who let's be honest is barely a democrat. Kelly isn't really a democrat either. Both Sinema and Kelly are more right of center people. Kinda like McCain but wearing a blue tie.

Kelly should easily win AZ. He will be defined as a moderate democrat. He's actually a moderate republican.

I will give McSally credit this cycle that she's run a better campaign than she did in 2018.

Still think Kelly wins it handily. AZ was nearly solid red just a few years ago across the ballot. It could easily vote blue for the president, both senators, and a slight majority in the house....plus many other down ballot folks.

I'd also imagine AZ will be picking up a couple of house seats after the census. One of the fastest growing states this decade.

I'm sure Trump is going to be boohooing pretty soon in Twitter about how dissatisfied he is with Barret excusing herself.

McNally losing both Senate races in just a 2-year span has to be some kind of record.

Not just that, but there are all kinds of factors that could cause people not to show up to vote on Election Day, and by then there’s no way to kick the can down the road and do it another time. Illness, family emergency, last minute change of work schedule, etc. Even the weather the day of can have an effect as people are less likely to stand in line for hours if it’s pissing down rain or freezing cold. That’s why I’m glad to see Democrats getting their votes in ahead of time.
Exactly this ^ also Biden leads in the college / degree educated demographic by a country mile.

From CNN;

Barring major changes in the landscape in the final days of the race, Trump's chances for closing the gap are deeply dependent on Election Day turnout. The poll finds that among those who have already voted (64% Biden to 34% Trump) or who plan to vote early but had not yet done so at the time they were interviewed (63% Biden to 33% Trump), Biden holds nearly two-thirds support. Trump leads 59% to 36%, though, among those who say they plan to vote on Election Day.

I hear what people are saying about it’s not about Biden but iR like 77 or TX told me if you could vote more progressives on the ballot lower levels in the house etc then actual change can happen. But I fear as long as there’s capitalism, money in politics and Republicans. You could be on your death bed before you get anywhere near the world you want if you even do at all.

The supposed ‘left wing’ democrats end up implementing right wing conservatism be that from in house or things outside they’re control so much so that the people they look to Republicans for change. They get tired of Democrats brand of right wing and switch flavours. So much so you end up with a tarded Bush or Don F’ing Trump.... bit of a tangent there but to circle back I dono if you can get proper change in your lifetime strategising to hope progressives take over at lower levels and hold on forever and ever.

Would like to be wrong.

The massive cynic in me wonders if this is a "ok, we'll allow these votes to be counted" then use the ballots to be thrown out "due to voter fraud" that almost never happens.
