THURSDAY 16 TH NOVEMBER 7.45PM KO
FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup
EVERTON LADIES 4 OXFORD UNITED WOMAN 0

In the Everton Ladies final game of the Continental stage,Everton won what could be a big game that might have put them through to the next round,a 4 goal win was the least they deserved after been way on top during the whole 1st half with a number of chances missed or been well saved by the oxford keeper, the 1st goal came from Chloe kelly on 10mins when Magills header on from the oxfords keepers goal kick set up for Kelly who volleyed through the keepers legs,it somehow stayed only 1-0 at ht,

The 2nd goal came on 69 mins when sub Jodie brett on for less than 5mins won the ball in midfield and put a ball through to Claudia walker who just about got it under the oxford keeper to make it 2-0,it was 3-0 on 81 mins when kelly scored with a brilliant goal from the edge of the area right into the top corner after the ball was cleared to her,and Chloe kelly completed her hattrick just 2mins later on 83 mins when Everton were awarded a pen for a foul on walker, and kelly steped up to beat the keeper who got her hand to it but failed to keep it out, to make the score a touch healthy look it should have been in 1st half

They will find out early december if they go through to the next round [Quarter final]as its man city v birmingham,a man city win will mean the top 2 of everton and man city go through to next stage,a birmingham win would mean Everton have to rely on man city losing there last game against bottom of the table doncaster belles,

TOP OF THE 5 GROUP TABLE

EVERTON 9 POINTS FROM 4 GAMES - [scored 9 conceeded 2 = plus 7]
MAN CITY 6 POINTS FROM 2 GAMES - [scored 8 conceeded 1 = plus 7]
BIRMINGHAM CITY 6 POINTS FROM 3 GAMES - [scored 7 conceeded 3 = plus 4]

FA WSL 1 SUNDAY 10TH DECEMBER -2PM KO
EVERTON LADIES 5 SUNDERLAND LADIES 1

After starting the season of with 4 defeats from 4 games in the WSL1,Everton now have there 2nd league win in a row after an impressive 5-1 win v sunderlan ladies, this was the ladies 1st league game in nearly 5 weeks, and there 1st game in nearly 4 weeks in any comp,On to todays game and it was Everton's Boye-Hlorkah who had the 1st shot on the game on 6mins when she cut in from the right wing and had her shot easily saved and held onto by the sunderland keeper after some nice play between her and Sweetman-Kirk.Simone Magill a few mins later then had a very good chance but her shot went over the bar when she should have done better,Bruinenberg for sunderland then had a chance with a curler that just passed the far post on 20mins,after a few more chances either end it was Everton who broke the deadlock on 36mins when Boye-Hlorkah took her chance well after shifting the ball to the right before scoring with a nice finish,It was then 2-0 EVERTON LADIES just 3mins later on 39mins when Courtney Sweetman-Kirk capitalised on a sunderland defender error and after a full turnaround finished with her left foot,it was 2-0 HT

It didnt take long, infact only 6mins into the 2nd half before Everton went 3-0 ahead from an excellent team goal, with Courtney Sweetman-Kirk getting her 2nd after finishing a very nice Dan Turner first time cross,it was then 4-0 just mins later when Dan Turner herself who bagged the 4th when her cross/come shot went into the far corner of the net that always look nice when you dont mean them,it then went a touch quiet in the game before Evertons Jodie Brett on 64mins was unlucky when her shot from the edge of the area hit the post, then after Everton who had the game won and went through the motions really, left sunderland a little chance of a goal but they couldnt take any of them, one of them been cleared off the line late on,but it was 5-0 to Everton on 89mins when Dan turner got her 2nd with her weaker wrong foot though with the finish you wouldnt know it,sunderland then got a goal backk in injury time when Galloway scored from a tight angle after a free kick was angled in,but at FULL TIME EVERTON HAD 2 WINS IN A ROW IN THE LEAGUE after a good 5-1 win

FA WSL 1 SATURDAY 6TH JANUARY 5.30 PM KO
BRISTOL CITY WOMEN 2 EVERTON LADIES 1

6th placed Everton were attempting to gain there 3rd league win in a row, over a period of 2 months as they have only played one league game a month for last few months, away to 2nd bottom Bristol city who had scored only 2 league goals this season, before once again they have another 3 week gap, then another 2 week gap after that, but they lost

The 1st goal of the game came on 10 mins for Bristol city when Yaya Daniels went down the left, got to the bye line and pulled it back to the 6 yard box for Lauren Hemp to finish to the keepers top right hand corner, the rest of the 1st half was pretty even though Everton were close to drawing level on 31mins when chloe kellys shot was blocked and the rebound felt to Courtney Sweetman-Kirk whos follow up shot hit the post,it was 1-1 at half time

Everton started the 2nd half quite well, but it was Bristol city who should have went 2-0 up on 53mins via Hemp,in an exact replica of the 1st goal, but this time Hemp shot over from yards out when it was easier to score,on 61 Hemp again had a chance to score but toffees keeper Durack saved it,but on 64 mins Hemp did make it 2-0 via a pen, when she sent Durack the wrong way,
on 74 Evertons Chloe Kelly won a corner and the ball was bundled in to reduce the score 2-1- Georgia Brougham claimed the goal, but they had 15mins to level but failed to and felt to defeat, bristols only other league win was v the bottom team who have 6 defeats from 6,this result and results of other games moved everton down to 8th,The crowd was 710,The next league game is away to chelsea in 3 weeks time
