This game was 4th placed Everton who have a game or 2 in hand on others,vs 7th placed London, and again it was our girls who came out the game with the win,Everton had to soak up a little early pressure before they began to take charge in the 1st half going close a few times with shots going wide,or just going over the bar,and just before half time the girls took the lead via Kelly Jones who got her 4th goal of the season stabbing past the keeper to go in 1up at ht

And again the 2nd half began just like last week with Everton scoring quick, the 2nd goal arrived on 48 mins after Danielle Turner scored a header from 2 yards out after the ball rebounced off the bar,it was 3-0 on 53mins with turner finishing again to get her 2nd of the game, and become Everton's joint top scorer with 5goals so far, things got better and it was 4 -0 on 56 making that 3 goals in 8 mins when our captain Michelle Hinnigan scored a tap in from close range,London got a goal back on 87 from a tap in,and Magill joined Hinnigan as top scorer with a powerfull finish on 90 to move Everton Ladies 2nd with there 3rd win and 1 draw from 4 games so far infront of a crowd of 481

Would like to see the team be given professional status. Being semi professional cost them a lot over the past few years.

Would have thought it wouldn't cost a lot considering the influx of money through TV deals and Moshiris to let the Ladies compete on a level playing field.

Well after a 5 week break, the WSL 2 finally returned [only for our girls to have another 2 week league break after today],were 3rd placed EVERTON LADIES faced winless ,lowest scorers,2nd highest conceeders and no surprise bottom team watford, and it was no surprize with us been 2nd highest scorers,2nd highest game winners that we came out with a defeat Everton mens style, when you least expect it,though we made a little mess of it 1st half despite been way on top,Everton took the lead via Claudia Walker, her 4th EFC goal this season on 16 mins, this just 3 weeks after she scored her 1st u23 England goal v Sweden, but just 3mins after we took the lead we conceeded a pen which was scored via 20 year old Ellie Mason for her 1st of the season for watford,we had a number of chances to retake the lead, but at it ht it was 1-1,
in the 2nd half watford gained there 1st win of the season via kerr who bagged her 2nd goal of the season with a great strike

Continental Cup -SATURDAY 2ND JULY

EVERTON 0 LIVERPOOL 1

In a game that was brought forward 2 hours [during midweek] and infront of a crowd of over a thousand,Liverpool Ladies came out on top and knocked efc ladies out the cup in an exciting game, well 1st half anyway,Everton will probably feel hard done by in a good 1st half, were we had a few decent chances that we failed to take, though our keeper made excellent saves as well, but it was from a corner taken from out ex player alex greenwood that was headed home from 27 year old swedish international emma Lundh right on half time,it was the last thing she did as she was then subbed, she was on loan there late last season before she joined full time in january,2nd half it was mostly Liverpool who were likely to score next if anyone did, though Everton ladies Claudia walker almost made it 1-1 on 89 with a 20 yard shot that flew just past the post, but it was made harder before the late pressure as with 20 mins to go when Everton ladies were down to 10 when Ellie Stewart was given a straight red card,Everton keeper levell kept the score down to 1 with a number of fine saves,Everton return to league action next sunday at sheffield Ladies
