Both. I'm a working class lad who was clever enough to go to a very good university. I broke in and I had a great time but I always felt like a tourist and I never totally felt like I belonged. When it came to post-grad (i.e. Going out into the real world) there was a definite sense of entitlement amongst many of my wealthier friends. I always felt on the outside.

it is a very big foot in the door, much like the care work system using agencies to cover local council run centers, leading to far more and in my experience far less effective private companies getting a piece of the action

At the moment the media wont call it. If it's done again (which it will this election, you can be sure of it) it'll be interesting to see if they continue to ignore it. You can be certain that if Miliband or another party leader was doing it it'd have been ridiculed by now.

He may do an awful lot wrong, and you may well argue that the fund has had unintended consequences, but he created a £400 million fund to increase access to cancer drugs that weren't approved by NICE.

Not really sure how that benefits my friend, and other people, with terminal cancer who have been forced back to work.
