Lol @ the rs bringing back their old school logo to recreate some of their success in the 70s. I think it's a good badge though, tout their current one looks a bit outdated now

"We can confirm that no bereaved families of the HJC were contacted or consulted. The first we were aware of this was via the minutes of the Supporters' Committee March meeting. Once again LFC has chosen to ignore the HJC and their families.

Oh do go and **** off

Have they nothing better to do than moan about a kit

They are ****ing idiots. Absolute idiots.

Why this has even made BBC News is beyond me.

****ing moaning that they were not told about the kit change

Why does the club need to consult them FFS, Its not like they have removed the RIP 96 or the flames they have just moved it to the back of the shirt

Im getting proper pissed off with YNWA LAD RIP 96 getting shoved down my throat at every ****ing turn, Most of the stupid inbread ****s dont even know what the familys are fighting for

Liverpool's new 3rd kit is possibly the worst kit I've ever seen. Hideous.

GAAAHHHH!!!

The sleeves are almost like some kind of crap tribal tattoo you see on some stedded up meat head at the gym.

It's actually an insult imo. All the bandwaggoners chatting about J96 and using it as a tool to make themselves looks good. Got a number of people on my facebook, so from near London, writing about J96 in the build up to derby's. Yeah, like they are really affected. [Poor language removed].

it's so the fans don't have to go through the pain of actually having a tattoo,. If they dont like the purple they can just cut the sleeves off and stick them on with prit stick - makes sence

It was a terrible tragedy and you have to tread carefully, but why the fook should they have any impact on how the shirt looks? They don't own the club, don't have a say in any marketing/campaigning decisions... They should be thankful that they have as much say in things like this as they do..they've actually included the letters 96 in this new shirt which actually makes it even more obvious than the previous logo!

And after all the endless support lfc have given all the hillsborough groups, they then have the cheek to say stuff like '...lfc would do well to remember that'.

I'm sorry and I know and appreciate it was a horrible day and rip to everyone that died. But it was well over 20 years ago now...surely it would be better to start putting it to bed and move on, as is the case with most peoples bereavements, instead of clinging to the idea that it was only one cause and one thing to blame.

I dont think the familys can move on but thats another discussion all together

The Bradford City fire was 27 years ago yesterday yet I hardly heard a thing about it, Will the teams playing tomorrow wear black arm bands or have a mins silence will we have a 4-5 page spread in any of the national papers?

I think that they are right to protest about the flames being removed from the badge tbh.

The club put them there in memory of those fans that didn't get home that day...to NEVER be removed, so much for ETERNAL eh ?

All groups concerned with the bereaved should've been consulted imo, but to me that isn't the issue, thje issue is that they even considered doing it in the 1st place. Moving it onto the back on the neck is just the 1st step in getting rid altogether, how long before it is placed somewhere out of sight like on the inside of the shirt ?

DIS WILL KUM BACH 2 ORNT DEEZE YANKS LAA.

I think a lot of people weren't aware the lfc badge contained any reference to the 96 in the first place (the younger generation), whereas on the new kit it is obvious.
