i think we have ****ged Citeh fans in our forums, so lets not play innocent here.

he said hes come in peace, so lets talk football, and leave ya snide comments out please lads.

On the day you drew 4-4 with United we were at Wolves, we had gone to an out of town pub (3 or 4 coachloads) and were watching on telly. We all thought you had scored too early when you went 1-0 and strongly suspected that they would come back and nab you. When you went 4-2 behind we thought it was game over (and I bet if truth be told, many of you did too).

When you scored the equaliser the Pub went absolutely ballistic, I can assure you that for that five minutes you would not have found a single City fan on the planet who would have a bad word to say about Everton.

I dont care what anyone says, that was the moment United lost the title, and it was you guys that did it to them. Yes we still had work to do, including beating them but it was you who loosened their grip.

I agree, like Kurt says every team has their fair share of Bellends and we, sadly, are no exception. And I agree

Also, that thresd was started over three years ago, probably when the feelings were running high over Lescott.

8. they're shell suit wearing robbing scousers who can't speak proper

As you say "3 years ago" before there was any crime in Manchester.

I was looking for that article the other day, but it seems it's a title that you have retained since 2009.....

4 Aug 2009 – Manchester is the most burgled city in the UK, suffering almost 20 break-ins every single day. According to new Home Office Data.

I live in Gtr. Manc btw so also own a bit of your ground.

Losing at Wigan had a worse effect imo.

I was saying to my dad after the game, footy fans everywhere - not just City - will be loving us because just next week you were due to a play a game that, even if you had won, you would have been 2 points behind United with 1 or 2 games to play.

As it was, we set that game up to be a cracker: should you win, you could draw level with better goal difference.

If it wasn't for that game, the Manchester derby would have meant a lot less. So I do think you have to thank us for that :D

Hi you Toffees

I am a Man City fan who comes here in peace. I just wanted to say three things to you

1. Thank you, thank you very much for the 4-4 draw with United, which undoubtedly boosted our club and inspired us to go on and win the Prem,

2. Thank you for outclassing (beacuse you did) and beating United on Monday, a great start to the eason for you and a ****e start for them.

3. Finally I have never heared such an ungracious managers interview after the match as that which was give by Fergusson. To suggest they outplayed you and then go on to say their keeper had a great game is nothing short of shameless. You did what you had to do to beat them, and rather than "lumping the ball up to Fellini" I thought your play was great.

I wish you well for the rest of the season (except when we meet of course) and hope you finish above United and Liverpool.

Thank you!!

There is always more than one way to skin a cat. Sir Whiskey Nose needs to lighten up a bit. We done what we need to do to get results.

And also on that note, should you give the reds a good thrashing this weekend you'll not find a blue with a bad word to say about Man City.

Us blue teams of the North West should stick together. We'd get a lot more from hating the red halves of our cities that hating each other.

Good luck this season mate :D I wouldn't mind a home win for each of us, it did us both fine last season.
I also wouldn't mind nicking all 6 points ;)

All the games counted, but even having been beaten by Wigan if you had not taken that point we would not have won the league. Whilst that is a wholly subjective view, after your result we went on to beat them, and Newcastle neither of which we would have done (I believe) had you not given us the incentive.

Honestly I have enough hatred in me to hate all three. In fact I have enough hatred in me to hate anyone who isn't everton really.

Well yeah I was trying to be nice. But I've never disliked Man City and even with the money I find it hard to. As I said David Silva is a lovely player so that helps; but the suffering they have been through over the past 20 years was much like what we had to endure during the 70s and early 80s before we came storming back to be the best team on Merseyside for the mid-to-late 80s. They were great years, all the better for the previous 15 years' worth of suffering.
To be honest, I don't think there would be anything better than going to Anfield and smashing them 6-1. It was an amazing turnaround. And that last day win against QPR was just magical. As a football fan I loved it, looking beyond my blue loyalties, it was just a great moment. A great day for them. Their fans have suffered and although there will be many bandwagon jumpers and glory hunters, they were always well supported.

But back to the hatred point, it would be easier to list reams I have a soft spot for: Tranmere, Burnley, Blackpool, Leeds, the Sheffield clubs, Wigan, Sunderland and Man City. And soft spot is going too far with the ones in our league; I still get rattled up when we play them. I just like their fans. There is definitely a northern theme... I can't stand southern clubs. Just don't have any affinity with them, especially London. It feels like it may as well be another country at times, that megatropolis, but thats an opinion for another day.

I hate Villa, Spurs, Newcastle, Liverpool & Utd of course, Arsenal (detest Wenger. detest him), the list goes on.

I agree with that, as not only did that result inspire you lot, it also knocked the stuffing out of United, they really couldn't believe that happened, they were truly gob smacked at our fight back - in what was really a 'dead rubber' for us.

Mancini is a classless beaut though, he was bang out of order with his comments the other week, bitter tool that he is.

Reidy why are you pretty much having a go at him for comments made by someone else?

I certainly wouldn't want to be lumped in with every other Evertonian as I spend most of my time on here arguing and disagreeing with Evertonians. There's no universal hive mind throughout clubs*

*Liverpool aside. They're all universally deluded.

I meant 'They' tbh. as in the article on Blueloon.
