Blue Bill is infinitely better than Peter Johnson was.

Peter Johnson was chairman when we won the cup in 1995 Kenwright arguable is the most unsuccessful chairman we have had in our history. He has picked 2 managers that have done well at Everton though it is still too early to judge Martinez as we are still only 17 games into the season,Martinez has been like a breath of fresh air at Everton but I still cant stop having worrying doubts about the fact that his team last year was relegated.
Peter Johnson was a bit unlucky in my opinion as when he was first interested in Everton the money he was putting in could of made a real difference but by the time he took over Walker had come in at Blackburn and player prices rocketed.Johnson realised he could not take the club forward and sold up for more or less what he paid for the club time will tell if Kenwright does the same but prices being quoted seem to suggest otherwise.

yeah.
I've actually been to other grounds in England though!!

have you ever been to that sh!t-hole on the other side of Stanley Park ???

I'm sure they haven't cleaned the place since the day when the dirty 'orrible b@stards all used to piddle in each others pockets and sh!t in bovril cups (y)

I'll only thank the [Poor language removed] if he put's his hand's in his wallet in January and spends upwards of 20 million. Best chance of winning the league in 20 years. All the outsider's should be looking at the table and thinking they have a chance. No doubt Liverpool, Chelsea and Utd will make massive, massive signings.

it's be so amazing if he surprises us all and Martinez signs a world-class finished article player...Mata?

With the team well placed to make a run at Champions League qualification, I look forward to seeing what our proactive chairman and his handpicked board members have in store for the January transfer window.

My prediction:

Out: Heitinga

In: Vague takeover rumour

gotta get rid of Heitinga, even let him go on a free, would save a fortune on wages. he is as much use as pistone was... the second time around.

Don't think their has ever been anyone in the history of this great football that has divided opinions of so many supporters.
