I agree he was good for most of that season, but I still wouldn't put him near a team of the decade. My view of him may be skewed by the fact that I class him as a grade A whopper.

Just read the article, interestingly for me they list the previous combined teams and in both in 2010 and 2014 they didn’t pick a team. I don’t know why but it does mean that they have precedent for not doing this combined XI and therefore didn’t have to do it this year as it’s not a permanent feature at the end of the year. Almost like they just wanted to take the mick...
