Assuming the current 'Big 6' + Everton, Villa, Newcastle and Leeds make up the 10 biggest English clubs, it would be interesting to see how everyone would rank the next 10 biggest which requires a lot more consideration about what those clubs have done rather than using Facebook likes by gloryhunters around the world as one of the criteria.
I would go with these but the order is difficult: Sunderland, West Ham, Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Derby, Leicester, Blackburn, Bolton, West Brom.
The next lot as you say is very difficult,Wolves were/could be a very big club,Ipswich,Sheffield United, would you go on history, attendance, potential ?Assuming the current 'Big 6' + Everton, Villa, Newcastle and Leeds make up the 10 biggest English clubs, it would be interesting to see how everyone would rank the next 10 biggest which requires a lot more consideration about what those clubs have done rather than using Facebook likes by gloryhunters around the world as one of the criteria.

They aren't talking about who's a bigger brand. They are stating who are the biggest football clubs.
I know it's UK based, but with regards to branding Leipzig and NYRB's are 'bigger' than Everton.
Everton are a massive English football club with a good history.
Football is on its arse.
By more or less any barometer, Chelsea and City are more massive right now.
Maybe we edge it in UK support but Chelsea and City worldwide fanbase is bigger than ours (social media, as a measure, puts us at 7th behind Spurs).
Chelsea, Spurs and City have a much bigger turnover.
Chelsea, Spurs and City are worth more than us.
Chelsea and Spurs have more elite trophies than us and, unless something radically changes, City will overtake us in a few years.
We haven't won a major trophy since 1995. Since that time, Chelsea have won 18 and City have 6.
Living outside of England as I do, its easier to see our standing in the UK. When I was a kid, most people in NI seemed to support Everton, Arse, Utd or RS. Now all I see on the school playground are Utd, City and Chelsea shirts. As the 'Fave uncle' I tried to get my nephews into Everton but after a year in school they 'became' City 'fans'.
I agree that we're a massive club with a great history (and so much potential with investment), but let's be honest, whatever else that list got wrong we're exactly where we deserve to be on it right now.
Winning the FA Cup and comparing it to a title win is like a Tennis player winning the Beijing Masters and ranking it alongside a Wimbledon win.
.
8.7 million people in London thoughInteresting. I think sixth is about right for us. Considering we have only won 2 league cups since 1991 i think it is very impressive that we can still draw crowds of over 60k for games vs Stoke, Bournemouth & Burnley etc as what is effectively an away ground with the cheapest tickets around £35.
All a bit academic though really, the 'big club' debate has been done to death & is meaningless in the big scheme of things.
You must be quite young. The FA Cup was considered a huge deal for most of its history. Only in past 15 or so years it’s rep has gone downhill.
