I posted this on another forum:
I can't see it being any of the top 4 (Abramovich and the Glazers unlikely to want to sell, Liverpool already denied, Kroenke and Usmanov battling for Arsenal) and in the original article written by UAE paper it said they had bought a 'Leading Premier League Club' plus the fact that Bill Kenwright Owns the exact sum the Arab is quoted as buying (60%) so anyway....
Arsenal - Kroenke/Usmanov fighting for control, neither likely to sell
Aston Villa - Lerner unlikely to sell
Birmingham - Not a leading premier league club
Blackburn - Possible, not sure I'd call them a leading club though
Bolton - same as Blackburn
Burnley - Not a leading club
Chelsea - Abramovich
Everton - Most plausible imo, factors shown above, Kenwright actively looking to sell for a while now
Fulham - Possible, London club in europe next season
Hull - Not a leading PL club
Liverpool - Denied
Man City - Already got a multi billionaire
Man Utd - Glazers very unlikely to sell, plus major debt if bought
Portsmouth - Denied
Stoke City - Not a leading PL Club
Sunderland - Recently bought out
Tottenham - A leading club, but Levy seems in there for the long run
West Ham - Unsure as to their financial status but possible, the London factor could impact
Wigan - Not a leading club imo
Wolves - Not a leading club
