Takeover?

Dont be like that bill, you gotta work yourself up in to a frenzy and then explode when it doesn't happen, it's the british way.

Honestly the only three sides I could see it being are us, West Ham and Fulham, and that depends on what they class as 'Leading'

I posted this on another forum:

I can't see it being any of the top 4 (Abramovich and the Glazers unlikely to want to sell, Liverpool already denied, Kroenke and Usmanov battling for Arsenal) and in the original article written by UAE paper it said they had bought a 'Leading Premier League Club' plus the fact that Bill Kenwright Owns the exact sum the Arab is quoted as buying (60%) so anyway....

Arsenal - Kroenke/Usmanov fighting for control, neither likely to sell
Aston Villa - Lerner unlikely to sell
Birmingham - Not a leading premier league club
Blackburn - Possible, not sure I'd call them a leading club though
Bolton - same as Blackburn
Burnley - Not a leading club
Chelsea - Abramovich
Everton - Most plausible imo, factors shown above, Kenwright actively looking to sell for a while now
Fulham - Possible, London club in europe next season
Hull - Not a leading PL club
Liverpool - Denied
Man City - Already got a multi billionaire
Man Utd - Glazers very unlikely to sell, plus major debt if bought
Portsmouth - Denied
Stoke City - Not a leading PL Club
Sunderland - Recently bought out
Tottenham - A leading club, but Levy seems in there for the long run
West Ham - Unsure as to their financial status but possible, the London factor could impact
Wigan - Not a leading club imo
Wolves - Not a leading club

Oh FFS

I didn't sleep

So in the meantime we've ruled out portsmouth:huh:

I'm really getting worried now

So the alleged take over is gonna be this summers Moutinho saga....ah well, at least its a bit of variety!

Really want it to be us, but know that it wont be....even if its announced that it is us - we all know it'll collapse at the 11th hour. That'll be the excuse as to why we dont sign anyone decent this summer...

It's not a full buy out says SSN.
It's 60% of the supposed club. Is this Bill's investor that he has searched so long for ?

I think that people need to be clear as to what is happening here. The purchase of 60% (subject to due diligence) has already happened. Its not a joke, this is real. The leading prem club statement maybe a hyperbole, but the reality is that there only a few candidates. The only issue is what club has sold out.

A lot of the papers are hinting its us, but falling short of confirming. Some are sceptical that this is even true. This has our finger tips all over it, only our club could keep things this quiet.

Bill would not sell for sellings sake.

He would make sure this guys heart is in the right place. So why not leave it a year for the prospect to fall in love with the club first rather than jump straight in.

It could be us ya know....
