I wouldn't go that far but he's definatly doing bloody well at the moment.

And its soooooooooooooooooooooo good to not [Poor language removed] my pants when I see him on the ball anywhere near our goal.

That run down the right he done near the end to night was awesome.

This is why I get the hump when people moan about his age. He's got incredible stamina, pace and never seems to get injured. If he keeps that up, all being 33 is indicative of is experience; something he utilises very well.

Feck it. I'm getting Distin on my shirt. I love him. Maybe more than I should, but feck it. He's ace.

For someone who has made so many mistakes for us in the past, he has amazing confidence to turn past opposing players go on runs and look for options.

He's awesome.

said it last time and will say it again

last year he was awful but had 2 good games, city home and city away

city away tonight was his best game of the season so far

he is still a dustbin, he is still a step backwards from lescott, and he is still the wrong side of 30, but tonight he was MOM.

You're either trying to bait me, or you're genuinely deluded. Either way, I'm done arguing with you.

Distin's not been here long, but I bet if you cut him he bleeds blue. He's been to a lot of teams, but he's publically stated this is the club he loves the most. He gives it his all, unlike certain other defenders at the club, and never stops. And he's ace. Him and Jags have formed a formiddable partnership, once again, and now that Howard's seemingly found his groove again, our defence is looking quite mighty.

He is simply a fantastic centre-half. Pace, power, ability in the air, tackling, got it all.

Possibly his finest performance in a blue shirt tonight? I'd say so, he's REALLY come into his game after a shakey start at Everton.

whatever

got to admit I used to think he was a bit rubbish but the best we had available, but this season he's been pretty good, the last few weeks I'd say he's been excellent. Not made many mistakes at all and really playing well and starting to show some confidence. Wonder when shitteh will put in a monstrously big bid for him ha ha

His positioning has been stellar this season. He did look a bit suspect last year, but you can't fault him this term. Him, Coleman and Baines have been the three bright lights of the season.

Coleman's been good, considering he's been out of position, but imo Distin, Baines and Cahill have been the holy trinity for us this season. The defensive rock, the provider and the finisher. Where would we be without them?

He looks like he's growing in a bit of a tache too, the beaut.

I wish our squad did that Movember thing, Billy would look like such a pornstar if he got a bit of Tom Selleck juice on his upper lip.
