Hello all!!! First post warning ahoy! Been a Toffee for more than 25 years here in deepest darkest West Wales. Took the opportunity yesterday to get to the game and am once again hooked. I am normally an egg chaser by heart but with the Welsh game about to implode my head's for turning. Took my lad (8yo) to the team hotel before the game and had the opportunity to meet most of the team for pics - we went to the Liberty and got treated to two stunning goals!! Loved it - we are looking for a Road Trip to see Cardiff at Goodison in March cannot wait!!! #COYB

Sounds boss that! would love to meet the players one day.

Spot on mate, hope you had a great day with your lad. I was made up last night when my 5 year old was off to bed and said "good win for us today dad". First time he's said that without us even talking about football at that moment in time.

Nice one, welcome, just in time for GOT Christmas where we all ignore our family and friends and talk to people we've never met and never will, about whether Barkley looks better with or without hair instead. Well its good to get the priorities right.

looking forward to it

He had over an entire seaseon with moyes in charge. Moyes and strikers dont match. At least not after he have gotten to work with them for a while.

I agree to an extent.

The one start he has had since Lukaku came was the Chelsea game and he did all right, setting the winner up for Naismith.

I would love to see Jelavic play in the side the way it's playing these days just to see what he can do.....but I can't see that happening.

Lukaku isn't scoring regularly the way the side's playing, so I doubt that Jela would. Playing well isn't translating into creating chances for strikers, for some reason.

I noticed Rom holding his hands up in frustration a few times on Sunday when he wasn't played in by Mirallas and others, but he wasn't getting in good positions to receive a pass. Maybe it was just good defending but there were usually Swansea players between him and the ball.

I thought he was getting too far forward to receive. Not in the sense that he was getting into offside positions, but that he wasn't getting into clear space.

Given Jela's tendency to stray offside so often, I doubt that he'd do any better.

Does it every single game mate. Dislike him me.

Just watched the highlights again - Still mesmerised by Coleman's goal. It was an absolute ripper :)

Howard did well yet again.

The emergence of Barkley is a massive boost- top quality without the outlay
