Think best thing we can do is burn it all down and give up.
May Day coming up, worth a go.

I think the jigsaw icon is for web extensions.

Soz not sure what a progressive web app is.

I always keep safari updated tho.

Ah yes, of course.

The issue not happening via private browsing (if this is the case), strongly suggests;

  • The Service Worker on your iPhone might be trying to load an old version of a file that no longer exists on the server.
  • The Fix: Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, find the forum URL, and swipe left to delete it. This forces Safari to register a fresh Service Worker.

... as that's not working, I've had to admit defeat and ask server genius if he can take pity and help us.

I did that and it went or seemed to , then it came back and now is intermittent. I’ve no clue and just updating you in case it’s useful ,although I doubt it is .

This worked for me. Decent.

Was happening to me since yesterday on iPad. Followed instructions above and seems ok now ;)

Started happening again every time I open GOT on mobile. It resets back to normal after a minute or so, but very annoying.

Also getting a new issue too once it does reset itself. Soon as I open a thread, it goes to an error of like “problems repeatedly with *insert URL here*” and then refreshes itself

Can’t snap a screenshot of it because it’s so quick in happening, but also very annoying

These adverts on the side of the screen are a bit rough like. Popped ip just as I was about to say they’re not there now!
