Id like to see Moyes go with Baines at LB for this one. Might be abit harsh to drop Yobo for just one horrific performance but ive never seen him play like that. We've all been wanting to see Baines for a while now, here's the chance.

Howard
Nev...Jags...Lescott....Baines
Arteta...Osman...Cahill...Pienaar
AJ....THE yak

What do you guys rekon? yay or nay?

This is what I want to see.

Howard

Jagielka Lescott

Cahill

Hibbert Vaughan Johnson Yakubu Anichebe Arteta Pienaar

Possibly take Hibbert out of attack for Howard towards the end of the game. to finish them off. give Shaggy a game like.

What do you reckon?

If thats the formation, ill revise my prediction and forecast that we'll knick a tight game 19-17

Personally i think we should have this...

Football_Formation_-_4-2-4.png

Howard

Neville - Yobo - Jagielka - Lescott

Arteta - Cahill

Johnson - Anichebe - Yakubu - Vaughan

Strength in the center, speed on the wing...

Well...its like on Pro EVo when you put as many in the midfield and attack as possible, you win. They would have to withstand so much pressure they couldnt play football outside of their half...

...Its only a dream...Moyes has only played 3 strikers up front about 3 times in his career at everton.

No Carlsey that's spell Neville in the Carsley position for this match and Hibbert on RB, wonder if Baines would play this one and what should we do about Lescott.

Yobo had a off match in the Fiorentina I wonder if he would be given a place on the bench and play Lescott and Jagielka in the CB.

They might play better at home but all the games they won recently is against weak team, we would beat the hell out of them, 5~6 goals should do nicely.

Carsley not playing so we might play a 4-4-2 for this one:-

-------------------- Howard --------------------

--- Neville --- Jagielka --- Lescott --- Baines ---

--- Arteta --- Fernandes --- Cahill --- Pienaar ---

-------------- AJ --- Yakubu -------------------

I would be delighted if we play this formation on Sunday but I could see Hibbert on RB, Neville in place of Fernandes and Yobo and Jags in the center and Lescott on the LB again.

It would not be the first time we've trounced some one with seven goals and then lost the return.

Come on you lads, one bad match and you are all throwing yourselves on a funeral pyre ffs, we will win this one, believe(y)

Well said, we have done some double over some team below us and Sunderland should be no difference.

Hope we could play this formation:-

-------------------- Howard --------------------

--- Neville --- Jagielka --- Lescott --- Baines ---

--- Arteta --- Fernandes --- Cahill --- Pienaar ---

------------------ AJ ----- Yakubu -------------------

Dont post on any other forum now but still take a gander and some of the wailing and gnashing of teeth is disappointing. Yes, we were well below par on Thursday. Yes, we have left ourselves with a lot to do on Wednesday. However, it is not mission impossible and we can overturn it.

I think some people lose perspective a lot of times. It wasnt so long agao that at this stage of the season, for quite a few seasons, we were sitting here worrying about relegation and getting the map out looking for exotic ground locations in Stoke, Wolverhampton and Preston.

Its been a great season still and there is a lot still to play for. Tough match tomorrow but i have a feeling that Moyes and the team will be intent on bouncing back quickly and getting a good result. While Sunderland have been good at home recently, I believe we have the better side and have the beating of them

I've been cautious about this game even prior to Thursday night, and i still feel the same but i hope we bounce back like we do after any defeat that we've suffered in the past, tough game, but we'll take all the points if we are focused.
