Hopefully they bounce back up first time of asking. A club like Sunderland should not be in the 3rd tier of league football.

I think they are doomed to oblivion. Massive debts as a PL club, let alone a Div 3, in old money. Players on contracts that will dwarf anyone in that league, but poor players.

Nothing to sell, of note. Owner utterly arsed.

If they can offload the high earners, fees being irrelevant, they have a chink of light. If not, and Short wont shoulder the burden, (would you?), where next?
