Summer transfer window.

Using a manager signing a player that he didn't sign to have a dig then changing it to his previous team signed him after he left because it's the type of player he would have signed so it's basically his fault even though hed already been sacked is definitely up top as one of the stupidest things I've ever read 🤣

Been some pretty decent Relegated footballers over the years, so it doesn't really work on that basis.
It all still stems from our Recruitment.

Id hazard a bet that the number of good relegation players whove gone on to win something is drastically out numbered by relegated players whove gone on to do naff all and bottle it every time they've had pressure put on them.

Follow me young man, I would like to introduce you to something called punctuation.

He spent a fortune and his last 2 seasons finshed 14th and 9th and a lot of the players he bought have been sold at a loss or loaned out
It really should be said though - since Moyes left West Ham, they spent €340 million.

If you finish 9th and then get relegated within 2 years after spending a fortune like that, you can’t really blame the guy that left you in 9th!

Fairly sure he had 3 top half finishes and 3 bottom half whilst there and spent a fair bit, there was one horror window with his mate Rob Newman that hammers fans go on about a lot.

That’s fair enough, was a bit mixed but did get West Ham I think their 3rd highest finish in the history of the club and one of the only trophies they have ever won too.

It’s a real stretch for anyone to point at him over their relegation though - unless in reference to the embarrassing no show from us at Spurs!
