I think it might be a case of him being better than what we have, but that's a very low bar and doesn't mean we should sign him based on that.

It's the type of player profile we'd need to upgrade after a couple seasons too.

But as we seen this season in 9th you can sometimes be 6 points above 15th West Ham got 52 points that season
Carlo got us 10th with 59 points

That’s fair enough, was a bit mixed but did get West Ham I think their 3rd highest finish in the history of the club and one of the only trophies they have ever won too.

It’s a real stretch for anyone to point at him over their relegation though - unless in reference to the embarrassing no show from us at Spurs!

We probably need a change, the job he did here was excellent in his first season, and decent last season up until the capitulation. If TFG had ambition they probably would have sought a replacement. They don’t and they haven’t. Keep crying if you like, doesn’t matter.

If theres a part of this thats kind of a joint approach Im okay with using Wan Bissaka for a year as a stopgap because Diouf is that good of a traget. But in a vacuum we should be doing much better than Wan Bissaka and realistically I bet Diouf will have some more intriguing options. I think Diouf goes for around 40 million if not more though. Maybe our senegalese ties can help.
