How f*ckin annoying is Moyes fans referring to Cahill/artet/baines signings enough to trust him. Was near 20 years ago FFS! EVERYTHING is different now
Because Moyes has always done better when signing players from the Championship, he does better with restricted budgets, he does better when his backs against the wall, forced decisions. The moment you give Moyes to much is when he suddenly looks lost.
 
Hackney only really makes sense if we're selling Alcaraz and Iroegbunam right? Doesn't seem like a priority position or profile at all on the face of it. And while I'm all for signing some English players, I don't want the majority of our business to be relegated and Championship level players.
 
Guéla Doué who is mentioned as an option we are tracking at RB would be the type of signing we all wanted when the new ownership joined. Proper good prospect and he even ticks attributes that Moyes likes (He is 6'2").

What's annoying to read about him in the article though is that the fee might put us off due to needing it to spread across other signings. Showing how costly a mistake like Dibling could potentially be.
