Summer transfer window.

A fairly beefy number 6 who's able to disrupt play, wriggle out of pressure and progress the ball? He's not the finished article but it's exactly what we need imo

I think for that position, we need someone who can elevate the team as an undisputed first choice rather than someone not guaranteed to start.

Shea Charles doesn't even start most Southampton games, very strange shout.

I think hes had an injury that kept him out of 18 games per transfermarkt.

….i thought it’s clear, he’s clearly a very positive influence in the dressing room, especially during the transition of change (new ground, new owners, new players etc). The players talk highly of him, the club feel he’s worth the expense.

You might disagree with it but that’s the ‘legitimate reason’ you can’t think of
Which he could do equally well as an assistant coach

Which he could do equally well as an assistant coach

….posters need to understand that the interaction is totally different being on the playing staff to being on the coaching staff. So he couldn’t ’do equally as well as an assistant coach’.

Coleman will ultimately move on to manage somewhere else or move to the staff at Everton but in the meantime the club clearly believe he’s doing a valuable job.

A few links to Shea Charles.

Powerful no6.

Which we want.
We'll probably end up with his brother, Craig.

Agree but also might just be the right time to get the lad in early incase his levels go up again. Like a wharton gray ect, is a risk but i am also hopefully another year of gana and improvment in rohl next season. Fits the profile we need when garner is out of the team
