Summer transfer window.

Ben White is actually in the top 20 of that list and he seems to be the one we keep getting linked too. Think he is just a slightly better version of O'Brien myself and Id prefer we looked at a different profile like an actual RB!
Spot on SB.

White is undoubtedly an upgrade on O'Brien at RB but he still not a proper RB

However I suspect that Moyes will like his versatility

Yes, white is just another square peg-round hole kind of signing. He would improve us for sure and is far better than J O’b imo. However, we need a proper, modern day full back at a decent age.

Going against the grain here, but I like Ben White.

Yes, he started as a centre half, but he`s now a full time full back and you don`t get to play in that position for Arsenal unless you`re a quality player. ( I appreciate he`s not first choice anymore.

He`s got a massive engine on him, he`s athletic, good on sets pieces and he`s a proper snide too. A player that you hate when he plays against you, but love when he plays for you.

He`s also very experienced and imo would bring a lot to the team

I appreciate he looks like a bit of whopper, with his ink and his stupid Jack Sparrow beard

I rate him quite highly too, but the injuries are a real concern, especially at his age and the wages he'll demand. Big risk unless you have something like a quality younger RB prospect to rotate him with, and even then

Honestly, he is FAR better than what we have, just the wrong profile for what we need (imo). On loan last summer was a no brainer, this summer we need to buy an actual starting, progressive RB

That's how I see it. Although the quality and experience is there I'm just not sure he's the right fit. He openly admits that he doesn't even like football and whilst that probably doesn't affect how he'll play for us, I feel like with where we want to be we really want to be looking for someone young who wants to be part of the project.

If you bring him and another younger more attacking, wing back type with a bit to learn then fine. However if its just White and O'Brien next season then its just two very similar profiles and a bit lazy really

Agreed. If you do not like playing for top of the table Arsenal with Saka and Madueke in front of you, you're not going to like moyes' safety first approach to full backs.
