Payet is boss lids but ive never seen him like

seriously though only watched youtube vids so hard to judge but he does seem
to have something also not bad rated on fifa experienced etc dont know but maybe
hes just what we need
 

Didn't realise that Andy Hunter had written an article about us being interested in Payet, never known him to write anything re transfers that haven't been legitimate...

I trust it to be totally legit in terms of us being interested, but we have to remember there's a LOT of steps between 'interested' and 'buying'.

Probably why even genuine ITKs get hounded off eventually, 90% of legitimate club interest (if they pass that info on) will never turn into anything more than that.

This isn't stopping me from watching Payet videos on youtube though.
 
In terms of Payet's age, he is spot on for me. We have a decent average age because we have the two extremes, which averages out to a decent age. However, what players do we have that could be conisdered in their 'prime' years? 27-30, maybe a little older for defenders/Goalies.

Possibly Coleman and Baines, each pushing either boundary.

We have plenty of promising youth (Stones, Barkley, Besic, McCarthy, Lukaku, Oviedo etc) and plenty of experienced players (Howard, Jagielka, Barry, Kone, Pienaar, Osman etc) but what we really need is players in their prime. Payet is the perfect age for that, as is, incidentally, Scott Dann.

I'm not saying we only buy in that range this summer, but certainly one or two first team ready players of that age is what is required for me.

This illustrates the problem. It was complete and utter tripe made up by self loathing beauts on Twitter who speculate in the small chance they are lucky enough to call it right and to get attention and endorsement as someone who knows more than someone else.

Put them on ignore if you like but there's a thousand more waiting for that opportunity.

Bad bad bellwiffs, those making the stuff up and those believing it including loads of you on here.

Now let's be fair. With a rumour as large as that there is never smoke without fire. It just suddenly appeared that Deulofeu was going to sign by Friday. It was all over Twitter. The papers were reporting it.

Had someone said "yeah, Bolaise on Monday" in this thread then by all means, slate them.

People discussing the potential return of Deu, or Payet signing... these things obviously do have substance.

No it's origin was in Twitter and spurious links in crap media aimed at clickbait.

It just sadly happens that there's a large portion of Evertonians who behave like card carrying dumb Kopites and lap it up though.

This thread is not for such stuff. But there's another one which the mods have explained, clearly and many times, for such stuff.

So the rumour that Deulofeu has told a couple of people he wants to come back to us, does that count as crap? Because that was certainly broken by the papers, not Twitter. Regardless of how jarg the papers may be, they can be right.

I can't quite understand where you want to draw the line here. Are you looking for a thread that only talks about confirmed/certain transfers? That'll have a grand total of ten posts, if not less.
