For crying out loud. It has been said tons. If a link is posted, of course it is fine to see the conversation develop about the said player/validity of link. But unless I am mistaken, no credible anything has been in here all day.

All I/we are asking, is that random chat about transfers in general is lobbed in the speculation thread.

Now I certainly don't have a degree on the English language but the quote above seems to be entirel of an opinion and/or desire, not a credible rumour. Let's review:

"I want X, I'm tired of Y, X will come in and do Z and it'll be awesome" = opinions
"Player X is the subject of a £10m bid by Everton last night - Sky Sports" = Credible rumour

If you're going to be a bellend and call me a smart arse I can certainly be a smart arse.

Your original response was inflammatory, and you're continuing that here. I'm not going to argue with you and derail this further as Groucho has pointed out but a few pages back I was certain someone said that respectable Belgian journos said we made an approach, I didn't make it up myself and thought the link was solid. I wasn't plucking someone out of thin air as you're suggesting.
