Havent watched him kick a ball, not even a single youtube clip.

But 20+ assists in 30ish games has peaked my attention.

I'm not comparing them. I'm saying that Champions league football isn't the only thing that's important. Money and league is also up there. It's the reason we got Lukaku.

With Mirallas or Lennon in rotation with Payet and Deulofeu.
Besic in rotation with Cleverly, McCarthy and Barkley.

It's also looking likely that Garbutt might stay and we will buy a decent experienced CB that may be good enough to replace Jags in a year or so but who's a stop gap until the kids, Browning and Galloway develop.

If that's our business for the summer I would be delighted.

How much weight is in the Deulofeu rumours though?

I'll be honest, I'd like to see him back - he seemed to attack for fun, which was very much missing from our game this season gone.

I know he isn't the finished article though.

I like the lid, seems a decent sort and looks very good at the footballs, I would take him all day.

He is certainly more of a Piennar replacement than the #10 we need. Seems to be a creative winger with good feet and a few skills, if we signed him and didn't also get a creative midfielder I'd be gutted personally.
