No offence but it seems pretty silly really. A little confusing, and very speculative as to what should be counted as a firmish rumour or a rubbish one.

People are gonna be scared to post in case they feel the wrath of power tripping thread police....

Not really the best way for a forum IMO....but hey maybe that's just me!!

No offence taken. If you havn't already, read the OP, including the bit that quote's a subsequent post of mine.
Then goto https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/the-transfer-threads-poll.77002, vote and natter about it in there (y)

Agree, @Alan Whittle really rates him and being the fans player of the year is usually a good sign.
Alan was fan player of the year ???

no, seriously though, he could be the big, strong, powerful, nasty centre half we seem to have been missing for a few years... in the mould of Dave Watson, Richard Gough type of player. We've been missing a dominant ball winner both on the ground and in the air for a while. Jags and Stones are both ace , but not the old fashioned type of bully we sometimes need.

I agree, he can be a bit of a grock, but we often need someone like that.

When you're up against the likes of Benteke or a player similar in style to Drogba then your center backs can quite quicky be physically dominated. Dann is about 6'4 I think and quite a powerful lad.

Everton transfer rumours: Blues join the chase for Newcastle's big star

Everton are weighing up a move for Newcastle United’s out-of-contract winger Sammy Ameobi.

The Argus names the Blues as the most high-profile suitors for the 23-year-old’s services with his current contract with the Magpies expiring at the end of this month.

Ameobi has been offered a new deal at St James’ Park but is reported to be looking for a move away in search of more regular first team football.

West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion are also in the hunt for the rangy 6ft 4in wide man who is the younger brother of former Toon stalwart Shola Ameobi while Burnley and Wolves are also monitoring his situation.

But is he any good at pointless sideways passing though?

...I don't hate Sammy Ammy

I honestly don't. He gets a bit of stick because of how utter turd his bro is, and the fact he's got legs longer than Groot's but he's got skills and is quick.

Honestly don't hate him.

I honestly couldn't say about him individually but the whole Necastle team looked woeful.
