In all honesty I get your point and I also like Iwobi but a lot of his deals have happened late in the window which bothers me.

Theres a method in his madness tho, teams lower their prices near the end of the window.

I mean look at Mina, we went in with a price and Barca said jog on, we then had to wait for Barca to come back to us at the price we offered, we could have signed him sooner but it might have cost us an extra 10m. Last summer we also had the AFCON, this summer we have the Euros and Copa.

Now we got burnt last summer when Luiz moved last minute meaning we couldnt sign Zouma or that Tomorai fella. But thankfully it worked out and we "discovered" Mason Nesta. Brands has a price and he will never move from that price.

Yeah the bedding players in is a total myth.

Most players new to the league will need 6-12 months to adapt and thats game time, they aint going to adapt in non contact training, only games will help.
