Premier League clubs vote for return to longer summer transfer window
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51401149

“Premier League clubs have voted to change the summer transfer window to bring it in line with the rest of Europe.”

Probably because clubs were worried that they were getting ripped off and couldn’t compete properly in the window with the rest of Europe. Opinions?

Better for us as fans but worse for the clubs imo. Apparently they banked in the rest of Europe changing their windows too which rather hilariously didn’t happen.

Doesn’t seem to have had a negative effect on English football though...

More weeks of media fueled transfer speculation? No thanks. I don't see the disadvantage for English clubs in the window being that significant anyway had they carried on with it
