Not convinced by these potential signings. I dont think they are ‘game changers’. I think we have missed out on better players. Positive is the age of the players.

Still missing that that real pacy wide player to stretch back lines.

Whatever you think Dibling if we sign him and Dewsbury-Hall are huge upgrades on Harrison/ Doucoure right age, very good signings to lift this club into mid table and lower European places if you ask me

Is he as good as Enzo Ferndandez, Moises Caicedo or Cole Palmer? No, he isn't.

If he wasn't getting games at Fulham then I'd understand your query more.

I mean no, he’s probably not good enough to displace Cole Palmer. I suppose if that bothers you then there’s not a lot I can offer up as consolation.

i counted 9 (unless you are including Maupay and Holgate for some reason).

And most of those already replaced (some by players returning from loan to join our squad).

So Dibling & Dewsbury Hall (if both get done) + Right back + another winger (I hope Grealish on loan) gets the squad up to 25 players and enough cover everywhere. Then we still have to decide on the futures of Patterson, Armstrong/Iroegbunam, Tyrer and Chermiti .

I think he’s more of an immediate term signing to bolster the midfield and start alongside Gana because it’s clear Garner isn’t good enough to start (yet). Then in the longer term I see him really becoming a squad option when we can attract higher caliber players (and invariably spend more to attract them). Sure he isn’t the most exciting signing nor who I was hoping for but he’ll do the job this season at least because we really can’t have Garner or Tim starting
