Beto is a modern day Paulo, great shout.A bit Paulo Wanchope rather than Faustino Aspilla?
To be honest a modern day kenwyne jones would be our best striker.

Slightly off topic but Im doing some "menial" work for Fifa here in Seattle ( i live here) for this Cwc tournament. Regardless of the competition and thoughts thereof, there are some gems playing for some of these teams we have never seen before. I hope somebody at Everton at least downloaded the free app and is paying a passing interest. Without looking into it, both number 8 and 9 on the Japanese team were livewires...one reminded me of Adrian Heath in his heyday! Also watched the Brazilian team with a mate and there were two players that clearly stood out...later found out they were both earmarked for Forest!Highly highly doubt we do anything until July 1st.
We were very close to PSR limit and despite fees being able to be deferred the agents fees/signing on fees would be this set of accounts as far as I’m aware.
Any point hoping for patience in here? Like driving through the baboons at the safari park.
Image Forest told Clough he should “serve the vision of the club” and accept players being foisted on him! Fact is, if you have a good manager (like Moyes and Ferguson) you are better leaving them to it as they know what they are doing. The manager should serve the long term vision of the club.
Managers are always temporary , they either fail to achieve targets or succeed well enough to be offered a better job elsewhere.
The manager serves the club , not the other way around.
We have seen how relying on managers exclusively for strategy and direction can backfire dramatically when they depart Ferguson at Man. U and Moyes here.
Clubs must have an overall strategy and style which the manager is employed to implement to the best of his or her ability .
I agree. Wasn’t Moyes and his recruitment team here heavily into analytics? Seemed like a good system with lots of safeguards built in.I like the concept of a small group of people acting collaboratively. There is too little time and too much information for the manager to do it, although they obviously have a pivotal role.
The nod to data analytics in the new structure is revealing. It doesnt confer an advantage anymore but it's a must-have. We'll never know the ins and outs but if Moyes was dead set on a certain player and the data suggests otherwise, who wins out?
We've been burnt badly in the last decade there is no foolproof way to do it but hopefully we have learned how not to do things as a start.
Elite journalists to be fair.I have very strong suspicions that Eddie Burger may have some strong links with Roger and Keith Azul![]()
Way back in the day, before analytics and stuff, we had hold of the football manager database before anyone else. Which was down to Moyes.I agree. Wasn’t Moyes and his recruitment team here heavily into analytics? Seemed like a good system with lots of safeguards built in.

Scouting system that reveals David Moyes' mind
In an exclusive extract from his new book Michael Calvin is allowed behind the scenes at Everton to see how the man who is now Manchester United's manager workswww.independent.co.uk

LOL! Love it JFTM. They are basically the same. One definitely didn't take over the others title winning side and run them into the ground. You must be a relation of Moyes, otherwise you are the Moyes Ricky Ryder.Image Forest told Clough he should “serve the vision of the club” and accept players being foisted on him! Where did I say they were the same? They were the examples cited. But you don’t have to be arguably the best manager of all time to know what you are doing.LOL! Love it JFTM. My reactionThis contract debate would put a glass eye to sleep.

You certainly equated them, Clough too if you look at the full quote. I imagine if you asked 100 football fans to complete the sequence Clough, Ferguson, insert manager here, 0 out of 100 would say "Moyes". Unless you were one of the 100, then it would be 1 out of 100.Where did I say they were the same? They were the examples cited. But you don’t have to be arguably the best manager of all time to know what you are doing.
Let’s face it fans aren’t professionals who truly understand what it takes.
