We had psr room in January for a couple of additions which never materialised. So surely we still have some room. The fact we were talking to delap appears to suggest that we are able to sign at least one player before July 1st on top of alcaraz.

If we got 65+ for JB that would be decent business.. as good as he is it’s simply the model mid to low table clubs have to follow. It’s the post transfer spend that matters there and currently we don’t have anyone in the boardroom which is the bigger worry.. Everton eh?

Maguire seems to think that we have up to 100 millions to spend this summer. If this is the case, we are going to struggle to get those top signings in that will make us competitive again. A lot to do, and not enough money to do it.

Absolutely, and that's the kind of scouting I desperately want us to do. But it’s no use signing a player to replace Branthwaite who is ready in 3 or 4 years time.

I think most of us are expecting merely better players for now.

Used to rely on Thelwell playing champ manager.

We prefer the "pl" experienced players that will cost a fortune and will provide little to no return. Anyhow, new staff in place, yet everything seems to be going still at snail pace.
