He was for a good chunk of the season where we had the 4th best defensive record. Whilst our points record improved after O'Brien started playing right back, our defensive record actually got a bit worse.

Overall we signed - not counting back up keepers, only 4 players all summer we had to negotiate a fee over (actually 3 as Aznoe was a buyout clause) Alcaraz was a prearranged deal from Thelwell, two others are loan deals.

Sorry but three months to get essentially 3 deals sorted is woeful when considering we managed to somehow forget we have no DM or RB.

Yep bringing the committee in late really scuppered any chance of being more aggressive in the market. Just hope we maintain our early season form for the rest if the season finish8ng top half and that the committee are more organised next time.
