Yeah it's why he ranks exceptionally highly in passing mate... And he's not regarded as slow either

He's not the kind of player Portuguese teams like. They generally prefer their DMs to be deep-lying playmakers. So, I would argue that he was never likely to be that popular over there.

A bit like if you brought a slight, skilful player into the English league about 30 years ago, everyone would just be saying that he's too soft.

There have been a load of players with records like that in Holland who have completely bombed in the premier league. Anyway, Jackson is a really talented player and would be the best striker we have had since Lukaku.
