Over the past two seasons, Everton have sent him on loan while his relationship with their fans has deteriorated. Earlier this year, Maupay stated he likes trolling Everton supporters online, maybe he can do it next season from the Championship.

Not if they don't go up, would probably get 7-8m for him. They sold Hamer to Sheffield United for 15m two years back. Even Gyokeres didn't even go for 20m initially.

It's 2025...fees have gone up and will continue to do so. Gyokeres fee was around the 20 millions mark and he only had one year left on his contract.

Minimum of a full right side, RB and Right attacking, Defensive Center Mid, Striker.

Keep Charly and Armstrong coming back in.

Then a couple of back ups in certain positions (left sided defensive at least).

That’s almost exactly half what he’s apparently on with us. I can’t see Mr “I deserve a pay rise” being chuffed with that.

We have to move on from Gueye as a starter. He can perhaps come on as a tactical option to see games out but as good as he is at what he does he’s part of the problem.

He filters backwards knowing that he doesn’t want to get caught with someone running behind him so he tends to try and steal the ball just in front of the back 4. This is great when you’re playing a low block and under pressure every game and he’s brilliant at it but if we want to progress we need a midfield with the mobility to push forward and press the opposition high up the pitch and not worry about leaving gaps behind.

It’s a huge problem for us that Tarkowski and Gueye are two of our most consistent players but their lack of pace down the spine is also the thing keeping the defence sat deep and big gaps between the midfield and the forwards.

We need to be brave in the summer and put OBrien or a new CB next to Branthwaite and get a CM who can motor to play the DM role.

we do need to move on, but i don’t think it’s this summer

CF, CAM, RW, LB and RB are all a much higher priority imo than Tarkowski and Gana

There has been talk of this interest from Saudi for at least a year, there were also links to Saudi when Lampard was here and wanted to sell him. Doucoure almost said the same on Ben Fosters podcast. He said there were offers on the table, but didn't specify who with, most presumed they were Saudi. The only thing I would wonder about is the fact that his wife had a baby a couple of months ago, so may not be keen on a move abroad, if they are settled here in the UK.

…and was DoF when we signed him, 7 games into a season where we started and finished with Anthony Gordon as our striker. Virtually a full season for a PL club without an effective central striker. Never forget.
