Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Now that Richarlison has been deemed not good enough, can’t wait to see the striker we bring in.

Richarlison would have instantly become our best striker so am Expecting peak Brazilian Ronaldo

Probably not good enough for some though

Him and cannon both great transfers out hopefully can keep doing deals with youngsters not in the clubs plans
This was some of Big Nose’s best work, all our youth players who didn’t break to the 1st team used to be let go on frees for years (often after being retained in the rezzys until they were 23+).
Suprised Onyago hasn’t been pumped yet, he doesn’t seem to be going anywhere at 22

I think we'll re-sign DCL, bring Harrison back, pass on Alcaraz and possibly bring Lindstrom back. I think we'll probably try and sign Soucek but it sounds like he doesn't want to move. I've gone from being optimistic about this summer to being rather trepidatious. I'm not convinced it's going to be as transformative as many of us hoped.
Lindstrom did nothing to deserve another go.

hope we stay clear.

There are a whole series of terrible decisions the club can potentially make this summer:

- Bringing Harrison back
- Giving Doucs a big new contract
- Giving Dom a big new contract
- Bringing Lindstrom back
- Bringing Broja back
- Passing on Alcaraz
- Giving Young another year
- Spending big on Soucek

How many of those do we think will happen? I’ll guess at 3.

Selling Beto to Leeds fior 10 mill +Harrison used as a make weight valued at 15 mill.

Genuinely petrified that I can see almost all of these things happening

It's not that he isn't good enough, more that given his injury record since leaving he's a big risk. Too big a risk to spend a large part of our budget for this window

Beto's not going anywhere for 10m. He has shown he can score goals in the premier league so would have to be more than his book value and close to 20m. Undervalued by our fans I rekon, he has done well for a backup striker.

I was being facetious mate - but if i was Leeds that's what i would be trying to do.

I do however think, their is a decision to be made on Beto and selling him to be honest.

That's a complex decision, for a few reasons but one i think needs to be made this window.
