We need minimum two more midfielders just to tread water in the league this season. We aren’t going to be able to spend £30m on both of them either.

What are Timothy Iroegbunam’s numbers and skill set? He has none of those attributes and started for us last game btw.

The guy is 22 and is developing. Sure he might not make the grade but he's not 29 and been a championship player most of his career. Ohh and being from near Birmingham I know Villa fans and they tell me he was highly rated by Emery but was still raw as expected from an inexperienced player
