Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Guys, work on transfers is being done, we just aren’t hearing about it. To double down on my previous post, there is a clear causal link between a member of senior management publicly calling out employees leaking confidential information to the public, and a sudden dearth of information reaching us. To imagine that this is pure coincidence seems a stretch.

What is more likely? That Moyes calling out the leak has caused a decline in the amount of publicly available information, or that by pure coincidence at the exact time this happened the highly paid, business critical player recruitment team has decided to completely down tools and cease activity entirely? And for what reason would they ever do that? Spite? Ennui?

Work continues people, of course it does. Signings are coming. Wins are coming. I would respectfully suggest that we try to look forward to them.

I feel that quote could be applied to a lot of posters on here
I believe it's the only reason a lot of fella's come on here, because it's the only chance they'll get to win an argument.

Lords knows it's impossible to win an argument at home...especially when she brings up that thing you did 4 half and half years ago,the thing you'd completely forgot about.

love it mate someone with positivity

I've not mate. You have. Your response to most people who are unhappy is to call them a bedwetter or moaner or somesuch and repeat that we will be fine.

Very few who complain think we will be in any danger of relegation. But most of us are sick of low standards that are endemic in the club and in the fanbase with the obsession with being 'fine'. We should be blowing these teams aside but we look like we are still in a state of terminal decline.

There is no impetus on our owners to be any good and ambitious because we accept mediocrity so readily.

Not having a good at you personally, I just don't think you can really see what so many are unhappy about and are misinterpreting it.
A state of terminal decline?? We were top 5 for form just 3 months ago

Are there negatives yes, of course, must we be reminded of them relentlessly whilst ignoring any positives though??

You are literally talking about relegation again after 1 game

The fume would be next level on here

The squad needs enablers mate, we had Ashley Young last night and we don’t have Garner at left back, which mean we don’t have a wet weetabix thrown together midfield, then Leeds don’t control as much of the game as they did.

Been saying it all summer we can’t judge any signing in isolation, it’s also how it compliments and enables elsewhere as we so everything in one window.
