What happened to the 'we need more players' shout from pre season? rues the injuries, obviously, but clearly isn't interested in being drawn into that narrative anymore. 'We've got a squad there' he says, and too right you do mate..

We have an absolutely rubbish and unbalanced squad as of right now.

Thing is on the one hand I agree we need development signings we can build and help us progress and then sell on, only going for premier league proven doesn't improve us but also we actually need players who can come straight in and start week in and week out in key positions like right wing, right back and DM. Another glaring thing is the sheer lack of pace but that's been the same for years.

If we are including youth prospects we might as well add kinnear and hammond as signings since they are likely to pla as many games as that centerback this year.

But its not who we include mate, its the club. I don know if it will be another 2 to make it 10 or another 6 if we think its first team ready excluding keepers and young players, or lads we think arent ready.

Ill be surprised if its another 6 and lids with this expectation are going to be disappointed - we have brought in 8 been active and spent £89 mill.

A new RB. An actual RB, not a makeshift RB. It boggles my mind that people seem happy to go through yet another season without a first string RB.

He said we needed 4/5 in the pre match presser. A one nill defeat at Leeds with barely any options at full back and no right wing are not going to have changed it, if anything makes it more urgent
