Same here. Genuinely thought after that sh!tshow last night they’d have hit the panic button and pushed through a deal or two today but it’s as quiet as ever. Not even a sniff from even the ropey sources anymore!

Have to be in negotiations to push a deal through.

I genuinely think as of last night we had no talks ongoing and were seemingly just waiting for clubs we've contacted in the past to get back in touch if they changed their minds.

I have zero faith anyone connected is capable of moving any deal quickly. Think the KDH, Grealish, Aznoe deals happened relatively quickly due to City, Chelsea and Bayern taking the lead and moving it fast due to having competent people handling the deals.

The reality of the transfer windows is that the "top" side have their pick and the rest of us go over the scraps but now we're in the last knockin's I'm getting seriously worried - I had us down for easy midtable but when even the players we've got look so poor and the potential recruits are uninspiring (Jack and maybe Dibling apart) I'm trying to keep optimistic but its not easy
