Whats brownhill going to do? I’d imagine he cost Burnley points as they’ve been relegated twice with him being a regularWell I’d rather that than Tim Iroegbunam coming off the bench and costing us Premier League points.

Spot on DaveI have my suspicions over Moyes concerning this window.
His whole demeanour has been to stress he's 'not happy' with things - but he knows full well stating that time and again means that it's not a great look for our efforts to get players to commit. We look desperate.
Moyes does not want expectation levels to grow. More signings will do that. His default position at this club has always been to get into a comfort zone where nothing is expected other than making a fist of poor circumstances.
He's constructed that situation again.
That's not to absolve those above him as they should have just swept his strategy aside (in fact they should never have kept him on). But Moyes will have dragged his feet and put opposition up to the thoughts of any committee set up above his head.
Hand him this season as he'll get us safe. Then I'd get him down the road next May.
£20 million for Matty Cash? Christ, teams really can see us coming.
Iroegbunam has been a disappointment alright after a promising start. We also need to buy another midfielder that is able to immediately improve the very average starting midfield we already have. However in the Premier League in 2025 you need to be planning on utilising 16 players per match day. Gone are the days when you can afford to have a significant drop in quality between your starting XI and the players coming off the bench. Gana to Brownhill is not as big a drop as Gana to Iroegbunam if we’re all being perfectly honest and truthful with ourselves.
Spot on.He'll have us at least mid table. The issue with Moyes is always that he constructs limitations on the club's he's at but when expectations are raised, he struggles to meet them.
You imagine the aim for TFG was to allow Moyes to transition from relegation to mid table and towards Europe, but if they want to push beyond 7th/8th, they might need a new man.

If Dyche had us a few points clearer than we were when they arrived Moyes would never have been back here at Everton and we'd now have TFG preferred manager in charge.Spot on Dave
I’ve ofton wondered if his replacement is already ligned up for next summer.
And it’s just a caretaking season
There's 10 other players on the pitch for his team during football matches lolWhats brownhill going to do? I’d imagine he cost Burnley points as they’ve been relegated twice with him being a regular
Because he wasn’t available on a free then??
Has he? I think he’s done really well for the few games he’s played.Iroegbunam has been a disappointment alright after a promising start.
Brownhill on a free and not crazy wages would be better I agree
But he was available nonetheless.
Yes I thought he may get 2.5 years I now think it will be less, if he pisses Hammond and kinnear off with this prem experience nonsense, I can see him going next summer. If Dyche had us a few points clearer than we were when they arrived Moyes would never have been back here at Everton and we'd now have TFG preferred manager in charge.
You have to assume that Moyes knows he's on borrowed time here unless he gets us top half.
I really like the fella but this is a mental shout. No teams have four and any team I can think of with three first team options are open to offers to one (Jackson, Hojlund).
Has he? I think he’s done really well for the few games he’s played.
