He's injured and recently signed a long term deal so why would they sell someone they rate highly. I mean I'd take him in a heartbeat but there's no chance. What happened to the Norwich right back we were linked with? Nothing in that rumour?

What am saying is Grealish on his own is a great signing but it’s pointless unless we fix the other glaring issues.

I respect that. Some on here seem to forget that we're allowed to disagree on matters of opinion: what makes this game so great.

World Class has come to mean something different recently, especially in the football sphere of the internet where every podcast debates whether or not elite player X is world class or not (usually not allowed to be until you win a major trophy, for some reason).

If world class means getting in the squad of a world XI, then Grealish isn't.

If it means being a top top Champions League level, title chasing player, then I personally think he is (or was).

The is/was is key of course. Down to him to prove that he still is. I rate him taking this project on as a way of doing so. Not many would opt to join us, much easier to join a Napoli or a Spurs
