Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

You are right, nothing wrong with hoping and I’m an optimist (mostly) but being a realist at this juncture of the transfer season,I’m getting more and more concerned, especially after yesterday’s game.
The stadium made my day its almost unbelievable it’s ours👌🏻😃
I still personally saw enough yesterday that we'll alright really. Just need players to stay fit in the main.

Agree.

I'd rather 'go with what we've got' then spend money on filler either way. We have a great opportunity to build this squad back up with better quality over time, so we need to just hold our nerve and stick to our guns if you ask me.

Oh god we’re still doing this one on the 10th August are we. Except now it’s gone from “would rather wait until the end of the window” to “would rather not buy anyone” because we’ve now come to the realisation that it basically is the end of the window.

We still don’t have a right winger at the club, I was assured many weeks ago by the brains trust on here to stop bedwetting because we would definitely, DEFINITELY have one lined up and we were taking our time and making sure we got our top target in rather than panic buy Jack Harrison early. So the “rather buy no one” doesn’t wash I’m afraid, let’s see who rocks up, it better be a zinger.

I'm sorry mate but any signings now will not be starting against Leeds.

It's how Moyes works, they'll need training sessions and a couple of sub appearances.

We've missed the deadline for season start, so I'd say most of the signings are now going to deadline day unfortunately.
Would agree for most but I think say if it was a Grealish/ an actual right winger they slot straight in.

Anyone else thinking we pull Mcatee out of the bag with Grealish.

Thought that ever since the talks over Grealish started, would make a huge degree of sense bringing in both as they are used to each others game, throw in Mcatee has also played - and linked up really well with Ndiaye a few seasons ago also.

We don't score enough, KDH will score a few so adding JMc would bring another in whose a natural finisher.

Them two and Dibling - would cost us around around 85-90, but would strengthen us hugely in starters and depth. And all are doable deals if we are willing to spend it.

And out comes....Jack Harrison

Oh I'm no fan and I'd rather we promote from within if it's an anyway viable option.

However, as back up, it wouldn't be the worst news in the world for me if the club brought him back.
As others have pointed out, his defensive discipline has always been good.
The problem was always his end product in the opposition half. Which was not good enough for the premier.

Probably a moot point anyhow. Doesn't look like the fans want him at Leeds so another champioship club will probably take a punt on him. It's a level he can perform at
I don’t get this Bring him back crap

Doesn’t score goals don’t create goals so what the point?
