Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Feels like we are just bunging out offers all over the shop in the hope that some get accepted. Not a huge departure from previous regimes and a bit worrying given the investment in the new recruitment structure.
Really doesn't

They are looking in the areas we know need to be strengthened.

There's too much of this talk of Everton panicking, not knowing what they are doing, making random bids. And none of that talk is backed up by the facts

Yeah, me too. If only because he is young. I've seen him look decent for Denmark and wonder if he didn't have the weight of the world on his shoulders if there's much better there. Then again, coming in as our main striker might not be the best medicine on that front...

Would be worth a loan for sure. I don't have much sympathy for a guy earning what he must be on, to be honest. You sink or swim. A club like ours would be a very good opportunity for him to rehabilitate, that's how I'd see it

Nicolo Schira is a well-known Italian transfer guy, like a Fabrizio Romano type but less global. He works with agents, and was probably the first to mention Nottingham Forest for Douglas Luiz when Everton was leading. I don't trust any of the Forest links, but Forest has been linked with Nico Gonzalez all summer, and now they're being linked with Douglas Luiz as Everton's interest seems to have dried up. Juventus has to move both Gonzalez and Luiz, and with the acquisition of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and difficulty finding wingers, moving from Luiz to Gonzalez makes sense.

However, if there's anything to this, it would cost roughly the same as we're offering for Tyler Dibling.

Disappointingly quiet day.
Don’t worry
