Tend to agree with that mate , positionally they are quite similar.

£18 million isn't an insignificant bid given McGinn's age.

I really like McGinn but neither the price nor the idea we'd do it after KDH make any sense whatsoever.

Why? He didn't score many goals before United. He didn't score many goals with United. Still young but not seen flashes you'd want to see for a young player to give you confidence that in 2 years time he'll be what they thought when they bought him.

Did very well in Italy.

United is a basket case. As a young player given very little support.

He won't be coming to us but he would be a decent pick up at that price.
