Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Hes a winger who can play both sides.

Thelwell enquired about him before he moved to Como.
Yes, you’re right. I saw older clips of him where he plays as a winger so in that sense he could be very good signing. But unfortunately we are maybe a transfer too late on this one. On the other hand if we consider paying 40-50m for Dibling so can we pay 50m for him because he is also a striker as the Como clip shows.

I had us as having 12th most sognings before this.
Top 6, Promoted 3 and Brentford Brighton ahead.

Puts it into perspective when Fulham have spent 500k.

Nobody had a “unprecedented” need to bring in a squad like us so comparing us to others is pretty pointless this summer

No, there is clearly a priority list of positions. Forward, CM, RW. The ones we have been heavily linked with players for all window and are making pretty big bids for.

But if the opportunity arises where a decent player may be available on a free or cheap, do you want them to ignore that until they get their top priority positions in?

I’m not saying they don’t want to bring in a RB, we have been linked to others since, but the clear priorities are the positions I’ve said and they need to navigate the budget available with getting them done and then looking at what’s left.

RW allegedly being a priority is also alarming seeing as it’s August 6th and we still haven’t got one at the club.

I'm sure I read somewhere that we were going to focus our scouting in the Brazilian and Argentanian league. Have we even been linked with anyone there?
