i counted 9 (unless you are including Maupay and Holgate for some reason).

And most of those already replaced (some by players returning from loan to join our squad).

Including players stepping up is a bit of a swizz. Moyes will be wanting them out the door on loan if hels allowed the number of players he wants in.

We had a small squad anyway. Losing double digits from it this summer necessitates more than 10 in. Minimum.

We have 3 in right now, so they need to get their skates on and wallets out...

The only players that played on a regular basis out of the cohort that have been let go, where Young and Doucure.

The rest where either bench / squad fillers, out on loan or perma crocs who hardly ever played.

So really we let two regular players go, who`ve both been replaced and we`re on our way to signing more, who`ll be first team players, rather than bench warmers.

But you know this already.

Ps the vaults are creaking open and they won`t be kind ( yet again )

Wouldnt be surprised if he did just still not 100% on what moyes thinks about him. Was strange to me having him in that role out wide last night .

There`s a good chance Garner may play at RB to start with ( imo )

Still not convinced about our strikers. I can see Moyes dipping into the loan market for a striker.

We only just got shut of DCL because we need 'guaranteed' goals.

I cant see any of Beto, Chermiti and (on a small amount of evidence I grant you) Barry knocking in 12-14 in a season.

We need a CF in as a matter of urgency.

Get Dibling in and that is four signings with a lot of potential. Could be a slight concern for the immediate situation but very promising going forward

There's no rush for immediate success, building the platform next season should be the aim and then make use of a young and vibrant team like the 80s side
