Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread


They have helped us massively.

The debt restructure alleviates a PSR burden from interest that would kick in once the stadium is in use and the interest on the new, albeit reduced, £350m stadium loan (est. £28m pa) becomes an operating cost.

No longer being cash constrained means we have much more freedom in transfer negotiations and deal structures.

We can and are investing off the field in people (new executive team, more scouts), infrastructure (we will see work done at FF in the not too distant future), reinvigorating the academy, growing the women’s team and more including their ambitions for a sports village including Nelson Dock.

It is a work-in-progress and everybody (I suspect including TFG) wants to see more from Kinnear & Hammond to help Moyes ASAP but it is paranoid, agenda-driven nonsense to suggest it is short-term profiteering of no-benefit to the football team.
